Artists – Erik Klusendorf

by Brian Bohannon

Anyone interested in seeing more of Klusendorf’s other work may find it all around the Bay Area.  He has painted many murals including work at the Evelyn Meador Library (where his 1997 book “GT’s Hide-away is on display) and his “Bridge to Knowledge” at Stuart Elementary in Kemah.  He is also currently working on a number of turtle sculptures, carved from tree trunks fallen during Hurricane Ike.  These impressive sculptures may be seen in Clear Lake Shores on the corner of Ivy and Oak Streets.
